Create workflows
Build visual automations with triggers, conditions and actions
→ Open workflows in SimpliServ
With the workflow builder you automate recurring processes – without a line of code.
The structure of a workflow
A workflow consists of three building blocks:
- Trigger – the triggering event (e.g. "new invoice", "service registration received")
- Conditions – optional filters (e.g. "only if the invoice total > €500")
- Actions – what should happen (email, task, update a field, webhook)
Create a workflow
Open the builder
Navigate to Automation → Workflows and click New workflow.
Choose a trigger
Pick from the list of available triggers – e.g. "Order created", "Contact added", "Payment received" or a time-based trigger.
Set conditions
Branch with if/then logic. Multiple conditions can be combined with AND/OR.
Add actions
Add one or more actions, e.g.:
- Send email (with a template)
- Create a task and assign it
- Update a record (set a tag, change a status)
- Trigger a webhook to an external system
Activate
Switch the workflow to Active. You see executions in the History tab with a success/error status.
External webhooks
Workflows can both be triggered via a webhook and address external systems via a webhook – ideal for integrations with Zapier, Make or your own tools.
