Statistics & analytics

Analyze your business with revenue, ticket, customer, product, vehicle, staff, proposal and email dashboards — with KPIs, charts and export.

→ Open statistics in SimpliServ

Under Statistics you analyze your business in the Revenue, Tickets, Customers, Products, Vehicles, Staff, Proposals and Emails dashboards. Each dashboard shows metrics (KPIs) as cards, plus charts for the time trend and distribution — all for a freely chosen period.

Overview

You reach the dashboards in the left-hand navigation via the Statistics group. It contains the following entries:

The statistics dashboards are permission-protected. Revenue requires cash-registers.reports.view, the standard dashboards use admin.statistics.view, and custom analytics pages use statistics.custom.view. Widgets additionally require statistics.custom.create and ai.use. Without the right role you don't see the respective entry. You manage roles under Users & roles.

Choose a period

In the top right of each dashboard sits the period filter. All cards and charts follow it.

  • 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year — quick presets relative to today
  • Custom — your own start and end day via the calendar

By default 1 month is selected. The granularity of the trend charts is derived automatically from the length of the period: up to 45 days daily, up to a year weekly (calendar week), above that monthly.

On the Orders, Customers, Proposals and Emails dashboards, the KPI cards additionally show a change vs. the previous period (an equally long period before) as a percentage. The Revenue dashboard doesn't show this comparison.

Revenue

→ Open the revenue dashboard

Analyzes total revenue across all registers and invoices in the period.

  • KPI cards: total revenue, transactions, paid and open (invoice totals)
  • Revenue by payment method: a donut chart across cash, debit/card, transfer, voucher, online (Mollie), Shopify and others
  • Invoices: a donut chart paid vs. open
  • Revenue trend: bars (revenue per day) plus a line (cumulative revenue)
  • Revenue by tax rate: a table with net, tax and gross per VAT rate
  • Open invoices: a table of unpaid invoices; clicking a row opens the invoice PDF as a preview

Via Export revenue report you download a revenue report as a PDF; the CSV button provides the same data as CSV. The export covers items/services by tax rate, category and the payment journal for the chosen period.

The data basis is registers and invoices. Details on the underlying modules are under Invoices and Register & POS.

Tickets

→ Open the ticket statistics

Shows new tickets, conversions into orders and distribution across process phases.

  • Phase tabs: All, service registration, estimate, proposal, order and invoice
  • KPI cards: new tickets, converted to order, conversion rate and open tickets
  • Tickets over time: new tickets in the period plus conversions
  • Status distribution: open, in progress, completed, closed, won, cancelled and done
  • Top customers: customers with the most tickets

The date range is evaluated together with the selected phase. The report can be scheduled with Automatic delivery.

Further dashboards

Current routes for more reports are Products, Vehicles and Staff. For free-form metrics use Custom analytics pages.

Customers

→ Open the customer statistics

Measures customer growth and buying activity.

  • KPI cards: total customers, new customers, active customers and revenue per customer
  • New vs. returning buyers: stacked bars (New / Returning) plus a line of the total customer base
  • Top customers by revenue: a horizontal bar chart

Proposals

→ Open the proposal statistics

Analyzes your proposal pipeline.

  • KPI cards: proposals, accepted, acceptance rate (in %) and won value
  • Proposal value by status over time: stacked areas per status (Draft, Sent, Accepted, Declined)
  • Proposals by status: a donut chart

More on the module under Estimates.

Emails

→ Open the email statistics

Shows the sending trend of all outgoing emails.

  • KPI cards: total, sent, failed and success rate (in %)
  • Sent over time: a time trend of the sent emails
  • Status distribution: a donut chart across Sent, Failed and Pending
  • Recent emails: a searchable table with subject, status, recipient, attempts and date

Clicking a table row opens a detail sheet with the sender, recipients (To, CC, BCC), timestamp, message ID, attachments, content and — on errors — the sending error message.

The email statistics log all messages sent via SimpliServ. You configure the outbox under SMTP.
