Email notifications
Turn emails for service requests, tasks, proposals and stock alerts on or off individually.
If the emails about new service requests or tasks become too much, turn them off one by one. Every notification has two separate switches: one for In-app and one for Email. So you can unsubscribe from the mail and still be informed inside the app.
Where the switches are
Open user settings
In the sidebar go to Settings → User settings.
Switch tabs
Move to the Notifications tab.
Flip the switch
In the Notifications card each event is a row with an In-app and an Email column. Turn off the switch in the Email column – the change saves instantly, there is no save button.
Events you can control
- Notify on task assignment – a task is assigned to you.
- Notify on task comments – someone comments on your task.
- Notify on proposal status change – a customer accepts or rejects a proposal.
- Notify on cost estimate decision – a customer decides on a cost estimate.
- Notify on new service registrations – a new service request comes in.
- Notify on low stock – an article drops below its minimum stock.
- Notify on assigned tickets – a ticket is assigned to you.
Depending on your organisation further rows may appear. A dash in the Email column means this event has no email at all, only the in-app notice.
These settings apply to your account only. Colleagues keep receiving their emails until they change the switches on their own account.
System and customer mail is not affected: invitations, password links as well as proposals, invoices and dunning letters to customers are sent regardless of these switches.
Push instead of email
To stay informed quickly without email, enable the Push notifications card on the same page and turn the email column off. Push applies per device and browser.
