Create a product
Step-by-step guide to creating a new product incl. variants and categories

Create a new product
Open the product module
Navigate to Products and click New product in the top right.
Enter master data
Capture the following fields:
- Name and, if applicable, an internal SKU
- Description for proposals and invoices
- Price (net) and tax rate
- Unit (e.g. piece, hour, kg)
Assign a category
Choose one or more product categories to make later filtering in lists, in the shop and in channel sync easier.
Upload an image
Optionally you can store a product image. It's shown in PDF documents and at the POS.
Save
With Save the product is immediately available in all modules.
Variants
If a product has several versions (size, colour), enable variants. Each variant can have its own SKU, price and stock. Details in the guide Product variants & families.
Serial numbers
For traceable items, enable serial-number tracking. On goods receipt and on orders, specific serial numbers can be assigned. More on this in the guide Scanning & serial numbers.
Active / inactive
Inactive products stay in existing documents but are hidden from new selection lists.
Connecting to sales channels
Products with the channel sync option enabled are pushed to connected shops (Shopify, Wix). More on this in the guide Set up channel sync.
