Availability
Course leaders paint their available days per season, the office sees the whole team at a glance
→ Open availability in SimpliServ
Under Availability course leaders enter on which days they can take courses – e.g. for the whole season in a ski school. The office sees the availability of all course leaders and plans the courses in the roster accordingly.
By default the menu item is only visible when course planning in the roster is active under Administration → Staff & time → Roster.
How availability works
You "paint" days with a colour. Each colour is a shift template (e.g. "Present", "Available" or "On call") with name, time and colour. You can also mark days as unavailable or sick. Remove removes the marking again.
Leave and other absences from the absences module appear automatically and are locked; requests not yet approved are marked as pending.
Enter your own availability
Choose the season
In the Mine tab you see one season (July to June). The arrows switch to the previous or next season, a click on the season button jumps back to the current one.
Choose a colour
At the top pick the matching colour (template) – or "unavailable", "sick" or Remove.
Paint days
Click days or drag across them with the mouse or your finger. The change is saved immediately.
If you don't have permission to view courses, the page shows your own calendar directly without tabs.
If there are no shift templates yet, you can only mark days as unavailable or sick for now. Someone with roster management permission creates templates via Edit colors.
Team view for the office
In the Team tab (permission Courses → View) each Course leader has a row with all days of the month. The Available row at the bottom counts how many course leaders are available each day; public holidays are hatched.
- The arrows page through month by month.
- With permission Courses → Edit you can paint here too: pick a colour, then click days in a row or drag across them.
- A click on a name opens that course leader's whole season.
Manage colours (shift templates)
Edit colors opens the Shift templates – the same templates as in the roster. Per template you set Name, Color, From/To and optionally breaks. This requires the permission Calendar → Roster → Manage.
