Connect Leasing-Check
Look up leasing contracts for customer bikes: store your workshop login, link a contract to a vehicle, ticket, order or contact, and see which inspection and wear-and-tear services the provider currently covers.
→ Open Leasing-Check in SimpliServ · Open vehicles
Leasing-Check brings the contract search of several leasing providers together in one place. When a leased bike comes into the workshop you know before you quote whether it runs on a leasing contract at all, whether the inspection can be redeemed right now, and how much budget the provider still carries — without logging into every provider portal separately.
You find the connector under Administration → Organisation → Connectors in the Leasing-Check tile. Creating or changing the login requires Edit settings (admin.settings.update). The lookup itself is workshop work: it needs View vehicles (vehicles.view), and linking a contract needs Edit vehicles (vehicles.update).
Requirements
- A Leasing-Check account for your workshop (email address and password). You get it from Leasing-Check, not from SimpliServ.
- Optional: a JobRad retailer account (client ID and client secret) if JobRad contracts should be searched too — see below.
Connect
Open the configuration
Go to Administration → Organisation → Connectors, open the Leasing-Check tile and switch to the Configuration tab.
Enter the credentials
- Email address – your workshop's Leasing-Check login.
- Password – stored encrypted and never shown again.
- Result language – German or English. It controls the texts the provider returns, such as the description of a service package.
Save
SimpliServ signs in with those credentials immediately. On success the tile reads Connected. If it fails, the login stays on Login failed and you see the provider's message.
Test connection re-checks the login at any time; the Last verified timestamp moves with it.
The password is only transmitted when you create the login or deliberately change it. Leave the field empty while editing to keep the stored password.
Add JobRad
JobRad is the one provider Leasing-Check cannot sign in for you. It needs its own retailer account, issued by JobRad — not by Leasing-Check.
Enter client ID and client secret under JobRad retailer credentials and save. SimpliServ then mints its own JobRad token for every search and forwards it.
Without those credentials JobRad is silently missing from every search — there is no error, the contracts simply do not show up. JobRad also only answers a search by email address, never by contract number.
Where Leasing-Check shows up
The Leasing-Check card appears wherever the question "is this bike leased, and who pays?" actually comes up:
- Vehicle – a linked contract stays with the bike, so every later visit already knows it.
- Ticket – at drop-off, before you write an estimate.
- Order – when it comes to whether the invoice goes to the customer or to the leasing provider.
- Contact – when someone calls and asks whether their service is covered and no ticket is open yet.
With no Leasing-Check login stored, the card stays completely hidden in all four places.
Search and link a contract
Check
On a record that has not been checked yet, one click on Check is enough. SimpliServ searches with whatever makes most sense: the customer's email address, or the contract number already pinned to that bike. Nothing has to be typed.
Review the result
Every contract found shows provider, contract number, bike and term. If the frame number matches the vehicle, SimpliServ marks the hit with Frame number matches — the only unambiguous match there is.
Link
Link pins the contract to the record. It stays visible there until you unlink it.
If none of the suggestions fit, Search another contract opens the manual search: either by email or by contract number. Searching by contract number is case-sensitive on the provider's side.
What the card says at a glance
The answer sits in the header badge:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Covered · amount | At least one service can be redeemed now; the amount is the combined remaining budget |
| No service package | There is a contract, but no valid service right now |
| Portal only | The provider shares no service data — details live in its portal |
| No contract | The search ran and found nothing |
| Not checked | Nothing has been searched for this record yet |
Below it, each contract takes one line with provider and contract number, the bike and the end of the term. Services appear as chips — such as Inspection € 100 or Wear and tear € 125 — showing the remaining budget. Green means redeemable, grey means not. Hover a chip for the detail: used and total budget, validity window, last service and any instruction from the provider.
Direct providers and portal providers
Leasing-Check returns two kinds of contract:
- Direct – the provider hands out service packages, budgets and validity windows. This is the case where the card answers the question in full. There is often a link straight into the provider's service process as well.
- Portal – the provider only hands out the contract basics and points at its portal. The card then reads Portal only and offers Open provider portal.
A snapshot, not a live value
A linked contract is the state at the time of the lookup. Budgets and redeemability change on the provider's side without SimpliServ hearing about it.
- Refresh in the contract row menu fetches the current state.
- Once a snapshot is older than a week, the card also shows Last checked. Fresh ones stay silent.
Leasing-Check limits how many searches you may run. Avoid repeating the same lookup in quick succession — if the too-many-requests message appears, only waiting helps.
Unlink a contract, remove the login
The contract row menu holds Refresh, the portal link and Unlink. Unlinking removes the contract from the record; nothing changes at the provider.
Remove in the configuration deletes the workshop login and any JobRad credentials. Contracts you already linked stay on their records as a snapshot.
