Connect Wix
Connect a Wix store to SimpliServ: establish the connection, sync orders, stock and products.
→ Open the Wix connector in SimpliServ
With the Wix connection you exchange products, stock and orders between your Wix store and SimpliServ. A connected Wix site automatically sends new orders as a shop order to SimpliServ, keeps stock synced and can take over products from SimpliServ.
You'll find the connector under Administration → Organisation → Connectors in the Wix tile. As long as no connection exists, the tile shows the status Not connected; after a successful connection it reads Connected. In the Overview tab of the opened tile you also see a status value (Active, Pending or Not configured).
Establish the connection
The connection is started on the Wix side, not via a form in SimpliServ. The Wix app calls a handover page from SimpliServ that detects your Wix installation and transmits the connection data.
Authorize the Wix app
Install or open the SimpliServ app in your Wix dashboard and confirm the authorization in the Wix app marketplace. Wix then redirects to the SimpliServ handover page "SimpliServ Connection".
The instance ID is detected
The handover page reads your Wix site's instance ID automatically. Once it's detected, the note "Wix installation detected. You can now establish the connection." appears and the status on the page switches to Ready.
Connect to SimpliServ
Click Connect to SimpliServ. SimpliServ creates the channel connection, fetches an access token from Wix and determines the matching catalog version. On success the status switches to Connected.
You have to be signed in to SimpliServ for this. If the Wix setup fails, the connection stays in status Pending and you can start the process again.
Permissions
In the Permissions tab of the opened Wix tile you see which access SimpliServ receives on your behalf:
- Read contacts
- Read bookings
- Read & write products
What is synced?
The Wix connection works in both directions. Incoming data comes via webhook from Wix; outgoing transfers you trigger per product or they're started automatically on stock changes.
Orders (Wix → SimpliServ)
New Wix orders are automatically created as a shop order, stock is reserved immediately. If an order is cancelled in Wix, the associated shop order is aborted and the reservation released.
Stock (both directions)
Wix reports stock changes to SimpliServ via webhook. Conversely, SimpliServ transfers stock levels to Wix when the stock of a linked product changes in the default warehouse.
Products (both directions)
Product creations and changes in Wix come into SimpliServ via webhook. From SimpliServ you transfer products and product families to Wix manually.
Orders
Every new Wix order lands as a shop order in status Open and contains line items, buyer data and billing and shipping address. If no customer with the buyer's email exists yet, SimpliServ creates them automatically. The further processing (delivery note, shipping, invoice) is described in the shop-orders guide.
→ Open the "Shop orders" module
Duplicate webhook deliveries for the same Wix order are caught via a mapping — an order is never created twice.
Import products from Wix
You pull existing Wix products into your SimpliServ catalog once. Open the Wix tile and, in the Configuration tab, the active connection. With the Import products button you start the import of the Wix catalog. The import runs in the background; afterwards the products appear under Products.
Push products to Wix
You transfer individual products or whole product families to Wix manually:
- In the detail or list view of a product or product family via the action menu Sync with Wix.
- In the product detail view via the Wix card: it shows the link status (Synced / Not transferred) and the SKU and starts a re-transfer via the refresh icon. The card is only visible when a Wix connection exists.
If a product description is managed via Wix, it's read-only in SimpliServ: "This description is managed via Wix and can't be edited here." Maintain it in Wix then.
Disconnect the connection
In the Configuration tab of the Wix tile, click Disconnect on the active connection and confirm the prompt. That removes the connection and the associated channel mappings; already-imported products and created shop orders are preserved.
