Revenue statistics

Analyze net or gross revenue from invoices and the register, check payments received and open items, reconcile documents and export the register report.

→ Open revenue statistics in SimpliServ

The Revenue dashboard under Statistics shows your revenue by document date from invoices (also from JTL-Wawi) and the register, plus actual payments received and open items. You need the Administration → Statistics → View permission. Date range and previous-period comparison work as described in Statistics overview.

Net or gross

At the top right you switch between Gross and Net. Net matches the view of JTL-Wawi and accounting, gross includes VAT. The choice applies to revenue cards and charts and is remembered in your browser.

Metrics

CardMeaning
Revenue net / grossSum of all documents in the range, with the value in the other basis below
Money receivedMoney actually received by payment date, minus refunds
Open itemsOpen amount of the invoices from the range, with count and overdue share; highlighted when something is overdue
Paid invoicesGross total and number of paid invoices
DocumentsNumber of documents, with credit notes and voids where present
Avg. documentAverage document value
Repairs & service and SalesRevenue split between workshop and sales
Vehicle revenueOnly shown when vehicles were sold in the range or the previous period; by sale date

Revenue, payments received, documents and average document show the change versus the previous period.

Invoices in a foreign currency are not included in revenue, because they cannot be summed without an exchange rate. If the range contains such invoices, a yellow notice at the top shows their number and currency.

Charts

  • Revenue over time: revenue per day, week or month, the previous period dashed, plus payments received.
  • Breakdown: which documents make up the revenue (invoices, credit notes, register sales, register voids) and what deliberately does not count (drafts, cancelled invoices and failed documents, sold multi-purpose vouchers, down-payment invoices, foreign-currency invoices).
  • Cumulative revenue: running total compared with the equally long previous period.
  • Revenue by source: share of register, your own invoices, JTL-Wawi and online shops.
  • Repairs and sales: revenue per period, split between workshop and sales.
  • Money received by payment method: money received by cash, debit card, card, bank transfer, online payment providers, SEPA direct debit and other methods.
  • Open items by due date: open amounts by days past due (not due, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90, over 90 days).
  • Top customers: the ten customers with the highest revenue; sales without a customer appear as Walk-in customers.
  • Revenue by weekday: revenue summed per weekday.

Tables

  • Documents in revenue: every document that counts towards revenue, with date, number, type, source, customer, net and gross. Clicking an invoice opens its PDF in a preview. Documents as CSV downloads the list for reconciliation.
  • Revenue by tax rate: net, tax and gross per tax rate. The total matches the revenue above exactly, invoice discounts are distributed proportionally.
  • Open invoices: invoices from the range with an open amount, including partial payments recorded in JTL. Overdue due dates are shown in red with the number of days, and a click opens the invoice PDF.

Exporting the register report

Export register report downloads a report across all registers for the selected range as a PDF, the CSV button next to it the same data as CSV. The report contains articles and services by tax rate, revenue per category and the payment journal.

To reconcile with JTL-Wawi, compare the net revenue of invoices by invoice date for the same range there, and use the document list as CSV if there are differences.
